Emergency Medical Service Training and Education

What comes to mind when you think about emergency response systems Africa? It’s probably emergent medical cases that need ambulance service and emergency room visits. While that’s correct, there is so much more to it than that.

The key to understanding the EMS is the system. It needs to have an efficient medical system, ambulance service, and emergency facilities. People working in these healthcare systems in Cameroon also need to have a proper education and training.

That’s where MDHouseCall-Africa comes in by providing healthcare consulting in Littoral, Cameroon, as well as training for emergency medical services, from basic life support, first aid, and scheduled/non-emergent transportation to advanced life support, serious trauma response, and specialty care transportation.

Our EMS training program’s main goal is to improve Africa emergency response systems by educating and training healthcare professionals and responders to widen the range of medical services and quality care for patients. EMS is critical to improving patient outcomes, especially for time-sensitive injuries and medical illnesses like cardiac arrest, stroke, sepsis, and obstetric emergencies.

Aside from that, our training program has flexible hours to accommodate busy healthcare workers, so they will be able to provide urgent pre-hospital treatment and stabilize patient condition during transport.
